Without a doubt the worst venue I have ever been to!!! Went to see Paul Young but never actually got to "see" him as the view was appalling. Might be alright on the lower level but on the upper level bar area you don't get to see the stage unless you are right at the front. Might be alright on the lower level but on the upper level bar area you don't get to see the stage unless you are right at the front. Sound wasn't much better either, seemed alright when China Crisis were on but suddenly deteriorated when Paul Young came on & had to move to even get to hear anything resembling music. Never seen so many people walk out of a concert (some after only 20 minutes or so) & one party actually left to go across to the Old Grey Mare to do the quiz instead! Was going to buy tickets for P.I.L. but won't bother now & doubt I will ever come back. Bar prices ridiculous as well, I bet it's not these prices on normal student nights?
